Machinery Breakdown Insurance can be arranged to cover loss or damage to your machinery: whilst being used, whilst unattended or during maintenance. Typically, policies will pay for repairs or replacement to insured equipment. Cover may be arranged on a specified basis, or for all of your plant and machinery. 

The type of information that insurers require for quotation purposes include:
– Details of the machinery that cover is required for – make, model, age & value
– Whether this represents all of your machinery?
– Details of any breakdowns (irrespective of whether these have resulted in a claim)
– Details of machinery maintenance (e.g who maintains, frequency etc)
